Poolday (ex-Viraaal) solves video content creation for advertisers at scale. The company sources thousands of creators and streamlines the entire process (reviewing incoming videos, payment, video testing to surface the best videos, video editing). Because it works with students as well and not just massive influencers, the costs are much lower, which allows the company to produce 10 times more videos. Poolday accumulates data on the videos themselves and their associated performance. Over time, it wants to incorporate Gen AI to improve the process, predict which videos will work well (improving our operational efficiency even further), and deploy them to any video platform.

The company is led by a top-tier founder, Alexei, who possesses extensive expertise in the industry. His successful track record includes selling MotionLead, a solution for creating animated and interactive ads, and leading Sociaaal, which achieved remarkable revenues and profitability in just two years. Furthermore, Viraaal seems to be at the crossroads of several key trends: i) the willingness of brands to pay less for ii) more authentic content that improves conversion iii) with a population that is not professionalized and is more time consuming to manage.
