Healthcare should be data-driven, predictive & personalized. It's not. We are building the first platform to digitize healthcare and fix this wrong. In the short term, we help hospitals digitize their communication towards community doctors. This enables us to collect, structure medical data and develop our reach among doctors.
Lifen develops an e-health platform to facilitate collaboration and communication between physicians, patients and medical research, which enables data sharing & analysis while protecting patient rights and ensuring security. It optimizes patients care pathways and unlocks data-informed treatments and clinical research.
There is a strong lack of innovation in healthcare, due to the difficulty of capturing and managing data. These difficulties stem from old, fragmented IT systems and the willingness to protect data, both seen as a strategic value and as an important responsibility for privacy reasons. Thus, to ensure the true digitalization of healthcare, companies need to build the basic layer of communication, to make the exchange of data seamless. This is precisely what Lifen wants to achieve, by first building a service to facilitate exchanges of data between hospitals, clinics and practitioners. The development plan is therefore two-fold: building the data infrastructure and then making it accessible to third party applications, which want to either be distributed to health practitioners or clinics, or which will use the collected data to work at best.
