What is FretLink?

Shippers face a huge lack of transparency and experience difficulties in finding transport solutions at fair price while 25% of trucks are empty and the fill rate is 65%. We have created FretLink, a web platform (SaaS) that easily connects shippers to trucking companies. Shippers provide us with their shipping details, we automatically match them with a reliable carrier at fair price. The SaaS allows shippers to track theirs shipments in real time for full transparency.

Business and value proposition

FretLink provides a freight delivery platform that bridges the gap between shippers and carriers.

Fretlink provides corporate shippers on one side and trucks owners on the other side with a fully digital solution to improve transparency and efficiency for both parties in their usual interactions (flows setup, transparency, pricing,…). Fretlink addresses a huge market (€300bn in Europe) in which non-efficiency involves environmental effects that can be tackled.

Why we invested ?

The freight forwarding industry is enormous and global by nature, but unfortunately, too many trucks (25%!) are today running empty, leading to market inefficiencies and unnecessary emissions. The market is characterized by traditional players, and is suffering from a lack of digitalization, which is accelerated by a number of intermediaries between the unsatisfied stakeholders in the value chain (both shippers and carriers). We believe that the complementary and strong team is taking on a meaningful challenge, by bringing this €300B European market to a platform arena, delivering transportation efficiency, price fairness, and more sustainable options!
