Wanna listen to a rockstar?

Wanna listen to a rockstar?

Hi folks,

New year, new resolutions! For us at daphni, the start of this new year marks the launch of our very first English podcast episode 🇬🇧

To kick off this new series, Joy Howard took the mic – and god knows she’s used to it as she was a real rock star in her previous life 😉

Alongside two new co-hosts, Olivia Mark and Roxanne Crossley, both partners at daphni, let’s deep dive into Joy’s journey!

So how does starting out in a rock band lead to becoming VP Marketing in larges ventures such as Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola, Converse All Star, Patagonia, Sonos or Lyft?

If there’s one thing Joy has told us, it’s that if you look at impact as a multiple of population, wealth and technology, she’s committed to redefining the way consumers perceive wealth. Her commitment to sustainability, combined with a creative mind like hers, has given rise to exceptional campaigns such as Patagonia’s “Worn Wear” campaign.

Despite an atypical start to her career, her path led her to join major companies before finally turning to entrepreneurship in 2021, founding her own brand Early Majority in Paris. But wasn’t she originally American? So why Paris? Yes, that’s the question, but Joy told us all about it in the episode.

On the menu, we also discussed how to combine business with environment or even how to find balance and develop yourself outside of work! Enriching discussions!

Enjoy! Da yours,

The daphni team
