Part of DaBook was written based on our experiences from last year, and 2024 turned out to be quite fruitful for daphni! It was filled with lots of growth, the start of new projects and celebratory moments with the daphni community. Let’s rewind the tape and see what happened! 🎞️
In 2024, we welcomed more game-changing startups to DaFamily! We are proud to support Apiday, Kolet, Pruna AI, H, Airthium, N.G. Cash, Albatross, Just and 8 undisclosed investments 🤫. Each of these companies are setting out to create a more sustainable world and make daily life easier. We also congratulated Swile on becoming profitable! We can’t wait for all the new heights we’ll reach with each of the 58 active startups in our portfolio in 2025. 🚀
In April, we revealed our new fund 🌈 Rainbow! This endowment fund champions organizations striving to build a more inclusive world. We’re proud to partner with each of these change-makers! 🤝
Never shying away from trying new things, we released our first EP in July! 🎶 This collaborative project with French producer VAPA resulted in the creation of 6 songs featuring tech leaders. Set against the grooviest beats, each song centers around societal stakes and sustainability. Take a listen to the mixtape here! 🕺
Lastly, we revealed two new projects in December! We unveiled Flamel, our internal OS designed to empower entrepreneurs with the best contacts, market insights, and tools to optimize deal flow, productivity and data-driven decision-making. We also announced the project of a new fund, Time 4. In partnership with Les Déterminés, Live for Good and HEC (our academic partner), Time4 is dedicated to financing underrepresented founders.
We are especially grateful for the people who make the daphni community one of a kind. From our events (including the Gla Gla Party and the Retail Party for DaStore) to 18 inspiring podcast episodes of Build da City for Good, it’s been a year of connection and shared stories. And whether we’ve crossed paths at various tech events, shared a coffee at our Sentier office or stayed connected through this newsletter, we are deeply thankful for your support. Thank you for making our 2024 a special one. 💜
