Do you recognize the guy in the picture above? For those who don’t know him, let us introduce him to you!
Meet Damien Didier, Head of Sustainability at daphni.
Damien attends to daphni’s raison d’être and supports all our stakeholders in taking social and environmental issues into account. Before joining daphni, he worked for an institutional investor, covering all types of Impact Investing and ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) issues. His long-term goal is to help build a more sustainable future.
As an ambassador of DaTeam, Damien represents the firm at events and conferences internationally regarding sustainability and impact in the tech ecosystem. This week, he attended Europe’s leading climate tech festival, The Drop, hosted in Malmö, Sweden.
“It was a super qualitative and vibrant event, bringing together key players in the climate VC ecosystem. We bring home food for thought and insights from engaging panels and expert speakers. Beyond the knowledge shared, it offered a fantastic opportunity to connect with players in the space, fostering long-term relationships with those truly committed and dedicated to building a sustainable future,” Damien reported.
Our esteemed Head of Sustainability is also taking part in Evintel’s 3rd annual global ESG and Sustainability Summit today and tomorrow in London. He will be taking the stage to deliver an exclusive keynote speech: “From Investors to Start-ups: How VCs Can Help Both Sides in Their Sustainability Journey and Create a Meaningful ESG Reporting Framework”.
Later this month, Damien will also be one of the presenters at the Climate Dividend Webinar (investors only), in partnership with Eurazeo. This session aims to highlight the value Climate Dividends bring to climate/impact investing, in addition to assisting companies in their contribution to carbon neutrality.
