Dift (formerly Captain Cause) allocates 10M € to associations amid announcing new company name

Here are three major news updates from one of our portfolio companies, Dift, formerly known as Captain Cause!

1️⃣ You’re probably wondering where the name DIFT comes from?

It’s a contraction of the words ‘DONS’ (donations in English) and ‘GIFT,’ a name widely used by its corporate customers. Of course, a change of name also means a change of logo and a new advertising campaign, embodied by Pascal Légitimus

2️⃣ Over the course of two years, the company has distributed 10 million euros from 250 companies towards philanthropic initiatives. More precisely, Dift is a platform revolutionizing corporate philanthropy. It enables companies to redirect their marketing budgets (loyalty, gifts) to social and environmental causes, while involving their customers and employees. Over 300 companies, including Accor, FDJ (La Française des Jeux), BNP Paribas, Carrefour, ENGIE and Wonderbox, have already chosen Dift to give new meaning to their actions.

3️⃣ Dift has recently decided to offer everyone the chance to create a personal account on the platform, enabling them to offer gifts to friends and family at festive events.

So whether you’re an individual or a company, you can now join the Diftors community 💝
