We hope you had a great weekend, whether you spent it on the dancefloor for Halloween celebrations  or enjoyed the autumn vibes in your cozy sofa 

But in today’s edito, we would like to spread good energies, as we are starting the most challenging month of the year: November (kudos to Scorpion mates in da place!). 

You may know about the Pink October Initiative (to raise awareness around breast cancer), or Dry January (one month alcohol-free, after Christmas and New Year’s Eve), but have you heard about November and its 3 challenges? 

1- Movember
As well as Pink October, Movember is a foundation aiming to put the light on male health issues, especially mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
“Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.” Movember Foundation 

So if you ever meet a guy with a nice moustache, he is maybe supporting the Movember challenge... and if not, it may be the opportunity to discuss those important issues! 

2- November smoke-free initiative
November is also the opportunity to get rid of bad habits and to start the November smoke-free initiative. The campaign originally spread in the UK and has inspired French health authority, Santé Publique France. The program includes an application, a community to support each other, and a help kit in order to be fully accompanied during the process. If you are willing to quit smoking, this might be the perfect impulsion needed! Registrations 

3- Veggie November challenge
And as we are food lovers at daphni, we couldn’t finish this editorial without talking about Agricool’s Veggie November challenge, which will make you discover tasteful veggie recipes. Who said that vegan food was boring?
