H.ai is developing Artificial General intelligence with a focus on multi-agent. They’re building AI that can think, learn, and reason across a variety of tasks and domains, much like a human. Their AGI is designed to be a team player, with multiple AI 'agents' that can work together, share insights, and adapt over time.
At the core of Holistic's approach are advanced models that understand cause and effect, not just patterns, enabling them to make decisions and predictions in a wide range of scenarios. These models are trained to continuously learn, becoming more sophisticated as they gain new experiences. This will allow their AI agents to be truthful, reason strongly. The company's technology is applied with a vertical-based strategy in selected markets (beginning with Robotic Process Automation).
Why we invested ?
H.ai is led by an really good tech team from DeepMind, including top researchers with unmatched experience in multi-agent models. They aim to develop a disruptive foundation model to bridge text-to-machine interactions, with early business validation through an RPA partnership. The round includes top-tier investors, reinforcing the ambition of the project. However, the CEO is very young and the team setup is unusual, raising execution questions. The deal is also expensive, in a highly competitive market dominated by major LLM players.
