Mathieu Daix is a co-founder of daphni. He began his career at Bloom Consulting, a Madrid based strategy consulting firm specialized in nation branding, He then joined the French-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Auckland, to develop its activity. In 2013, he became CMO of France Digitale, a lobby of startups and investors where he defined and put in place the branding & PR strategy. He was also responsible of events and content. In addition, he teaches methodology, marketing of innovation and branding in the Lyon II University and in _WebSchoolFactory. He is a co-author of two books, one dedicated to economy and methodology “Réussir ses études d’économie-gestion” (Presse Universitaire) and one about social media “Les Fiches Outils des Réseaux Sociaux” (Eyrolles edition). He writes regularly in his blog since 5 years about branding, innovation and humanities. Mathieu is a graduate of EMLYON Business School.

Then she made audit assignments with PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 2006 to 2007, especially focused on investment funds and portfolio management companies. Vanina worked from 2007 to 2013 at A Plus Finance, as a Compliance Officer and Responsible of Regulatory Affairs ; and as Head of Compliance at LBO France Gestion from 2014 to 2016. Vanina graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and Paris IX Dauphine University.

Isabelle was born and raised in Germany and in 2001 moved to the US where she lived for fifteen years. She gained her experience in office management and human resources working at the law firm Cohen & Gresser in New York for eight years. Isabelle took part in the firm's growth and expansion and learned that organization and communication are key in making a changing environment function smoothly. Marie Ekeland is co-founder of daphni, a European venture capital fund. She is also co-founder and vice-president of France Digitale, an association joining forces between founders and investors to develop the French digital ecosystem. Marie serves as a board member for Parrot (PAR:PARRO), Showroomprive (PA:SRP), and Institut Louis Bachelier, and is a member of the French Digital Council (CNNum). She began her career in 1997 at J.P. Morgan in New York as a computer scientist. In 2000, Ms. Ekeland joined CPR Private Equity as a venture capitalist. She moved to Elaia Partners in 2005 leading investments in Criteo (NSDQ:CRTO), Edoki Academy, mobirider, Pandacraft, Scoop.it, Teads, Wyplay, and Ykone. Ms. Ekeland holds a math & computer science degree from the University of Paris IX Dauphine and an economics degree from the Paris School of Economics.

Pierre-Yves Meerschman is a co-founder of daphni. After developing a microcredit project in Cambodia, Mr Meerschman joined Ernst & Young’s Paris audit team. In that position, he carried out numerous assignments in the oil and telecoms sectors. Then he worked on mergers and acquisitions at Société Générale as part of the Financial Institutions Group. After those experiences he joined BNP Paribas Private Equity in 2001. He started working on the second ETMF fund generation at that time. After that he co-founded and served as a managing partner of Orkos Capital in 2007 and Robolution Capital in 2012. Mr. Meerschman realized and managed various startup investments, including Meninvest/Menlook, Scoop.it, Luceor, Liligo, Limonetik, Artemia, B3G Telecom, Sensee, Navya... He studied at Universität St-Gallen in Switzerland and is a graduate of HEC Shool of Management in Paris.

Pierre-Eric Leibovici is a co-founder of daphni. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Agricool, Foxintel, AnotherBrain and a member of the advisory board of The Hardware Club. After a first experience with Merrill Lynch’s emerging market risk management entity in New York, Pierre-Eric joined the BANEXI Telecommunications and Media Department in 1997, where he worked on private equity investment operations and corporate advisory assignments in telecom and media sectors. From 1999 to 2007, he was Partner of the ETMF II LP fund, an independent private equity fund in the IT sector. Then he co-founded and served as a managing partner of Orkos Capital in 2007 and Robolution Capital in 2012. Mr. Leibovici realized and managed as board of Directors various startup investments including Allociné, Aplio, Musiwave, Urbi TV, Sensee.com, Limonetik, SMG, Liligo.com, B3G Telecom, Neurala, Balyo and EnerBee. In addition, he is a professor of financial engineering at ESCP EAP and has co-authored a book on legal, fiscal and financial engineering (Ingénierie Financière, Fiscale et Juridique, 2009-2010, Dalloz). In 2010, Frédéric co-founded éGz (to be pronounced “eggs”, nobody cracked the myth behind) a digital studio that helped its clients to become beautiful & visible. Then he joined Molotov, a French startup aiming at reinventing TV, as a front-end developper. Since 2015, he is the lead front-end developer at daphni. Frédéric teaches web-development in several schools including IESA Multimedia. In his spare time, he loves crafting wood and riding his motorbike.

Vincent Touati Tomas is in charge of Events & Communication at daphni. He is originally from Montpellier, the south of France, but don’t expect to notice his southern accent since he’s a master at camouflaging it! In 2012, wanting to promote debate on how the internet is politically, economically and socially reshaping the world, he founded the podcast Convergence Numerique where he published content four years. Having conducted more than 150 interviews, we can say for sure that he is passionate about people and getting things said. Vincent worked in the tech events industry, doing interviews, and creating live content for agencies and think tanks. In 2016, he joined France Digitale, a European lobby of startups and investors as Events & Communication Manager. He’s now in charge of spreading the good daphni vibes in the ecosystem. Tip: Don't throw too many good ideas at him, he would really try to do them all.

In 1995, Kevin Kuipers launched his first website a few months after he discovered Internet. Two years later, he joined AlloCiné as a webmaster and released their first dynamic website. Kevin then left in 2000 to co-found his own startup, Gamekult.com, a video gaming website that quickly became a hit for hardcore gamers. Gamekult was sold to CBS Interactive in 2007. In 2010, Kevin co-founded SensCritique.com, a social network focused on entertainment. SensCritique now gathers more user ratings than AlloCiné or Jeuxvideo.com and is the first cultural social network in France.

Willy Braun is a co-founder daphni. He began his career in 2009 in the communication agency of group La Poste then joined in 2011 the business club dedicated to the digital economy EBG as head of business development. In the meantime, he co-founded the association Startup Weekend France where he was in charge of opening new cities, including Toulouse, Lille, Nantes, Nancy, Grenoble & Lyon. In 2012, he became General Manager of France Digitale, a lobby of startups and investor that he managed until early 2015. From 2013 to 2015, he served as director of eBusiness studies in WebSchoolFactory, a business school dedicated to train the next managers of digital companies or departments. He was in charge of designing the curriculum and recruiting teachers. In addition, Mr. Braun teaches content strategy, marketing of innovation and business model design in Toulouse Business School, IAE Toulouse, ESCP and _Webschoolfactory. He has published in 2013 the book Internet Marketing (Eyrolles edition), which has been labeled triple favourite in FNAC (biggest french retailer) and best selling book in Amazon France in its category.
